JAA Earns First Victory of the Season in Commanding 49–6 Win Over West Bay Collegiate

Jacksonville, FL —

The Jacksonville Athletic Academy (JAA) made a powerful statement this weekend, earning its first win of the 2025 season with a commanding 49–6 victory over West Bay Collegiate. The performance marked a turning point for the program — a culmination of weeks of steady improvement, resilience, and belief in the process.

From start to finish, JAA controlled every phase of the game. The offense displayed balance and precision, executing with confidence and maintaining strong rhythm throughout the contest. The defensive unit delivered one of its best performances of the season, shutting down the run game, forcing turnovers, and holding West Bay to a single score.

Special teams also contributed significantly, consistently flipping field position and creating momentum that fueled the offense. The game showcased the discipline and structure that the coaching staff has been instilling since the beginning of the season.

Head Coach Nolan Carroll reflected on the team’s performance and what the victory represents for the program:

“This was about growth and staying the course. We’ve been through a lot of tough matchups early on, but those experiences shaped us. Tonight, the players came together and showed what it looks like when preparation meets opportunity. This is just the beginning of where we’re headed.”

The 49–6 win highlights JAA’s growing identity as a disciplined, physical, and mentally tough team — one capable of competing at a high level week after week. It also serves as a foundation for the program’s continued pursuit of excellence as they head into the next phase of the season.
